Youth Initiatives

You Can Help

SDBC is looking to establish an advisory committee to develop a youth initiative program within our region. These young people represent the next generation of leadership and growth for this sport in our region.

We have identified the following target groups for which we would like to develop programming:

high school dragon boat teams
university and college dragon boat teams
financially-disadvantaged youth individuals

Objectives

To promote collaborative interaction among the youth in our region
To provide support in services to individual youth participants
To share our experience and knowledge to help develop other youth programs
